LVA 13 Elite had a great showing at the AAU Nationals in Orlando from June 19-22, 2016.
They went 9-1 to qualify for the Gold Bracket after winning a Challenge match against Pinellas Heat 13 Elite 25-21, 25-22.
Then in the quarterfinals they beat Mizuno Northern Lights 13-2 from Minneapolis in a real tough match, 23-25, 25-17, 15-13.
Onto the semi-finals where they had to take on Asics KIVA 13 Black. This match went to 3 sets but LVA 13 Elite came up short, 19-25, 25-9, 15-11.
LVA 13 Elite came in 3rd with a 10-2 showing. What a great way to finish up a great season.
Congrats to Megan Harrison and Jordan Schultz for being named AAU Classic All Stars for their play. Special thanks to Coach Jade Hayes for all her time and effort this season. Congrats to ALL on an outstanding season, it was an awesome journey that will not be forgotten. Way to go LVA!
